These guidelines are designed to ensure a safe, disciplined, and supportive learning environment for all students.
GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS
- The school insists on strict punctuality, regular attendance, cleanliness, proper grooming, and sincere dedication to studies and assigned work.
- Every student must bring the school diary daily. In case of loss, the student will be subject to disciplinary action and must purchase a new diary.
- No student will be allowed to attend class without a valid school I-card.
- Students must not scratch, spoil, or damage smartboards, desks, chairs, or any school property. Writing or drawing on walls, doors, or damaging others’ belongings—even unintentionally—will invite disciplinary action.
- Books other than prescribed textbooks, reference books, or library books, as well as comics and magazines brought without permission, are liable to be confiscated.
- Lending or borrowing money and exchanging personal articles is strictly prohibited.
- Students are advised not to bring valuable items such as expensive watches, fountain pens, or costly stationery. The school will not be responsible for any loss of such items.
- The school reserves the right to expel students whose conduct is repeatedly harmful to others.
- Wearing jewellery to school is strictly prohibited.
- Students are strictly forbidden from bringing mobile phones to school. Any violation will result in confiscation of the mobile phone along with the SIM card, and under no circumstances will it be returned.
- Students are not allowed to leave the classroom without permission and a valid class pass. Proper entry must be made in the school diary where applicable.
- Students must maintain cleanliness and be neatly dressed at all times. The prescribed school uniform must be worn on all working days, during PTMs, and for all school functions. Students not in proper uniform or untidily dressed will be sent home. Use of hair gel, low-waist trousers, or narrow trousers is not permitted.
- Celebration of birthdays or festivals on the school campus is not allowed. Parents are advised not to send sweets, gifts, or edible items with students. Birthday bumps are strictly prohibited and punishable.
- The school premises must be kept clean. Littering with disposable cups, paper, or polythene bags is strictly prohibited. Minimal use of polythene is encouraged.
- Students must not pluck flowers or damage plants on the school premises.
- Bringing sharp instruments such as knives, cutters, or any object that may cause injury is strictly prohibited.
- The following practices are strictly forbidden:
- Writing on uniforms, benches, or walls
- Spitting in or around the school premises
- Smoking
- Gambling in any form
- Use of drugs or intoxicants, except on medical prescription by a registered practitioner
- Students found using unfair means during examinations will face disciplinary action as decided by the school authorities.
- Students failing in one subject in Class XI may be permitted to appear for a compartment examination, subject to their performance in previous terminal examinations.
- Students must not engage in any activity that disrupts school discipline or violates school norms.
- School rules are subject to change or modification without prior notice.
